Police & Sheriff Calls for April 6-8
April 6
Playing Dirty: At 817 a.m. a complaint was made from a caller living on the 1800 block of 5th St. South to report that dog feces was being left in their yard.
Chocolate Milk: At 11:44 a.m. a call was made from a parking lot on the 4300 block of 8th St. South to report that chocolate milk was dumped on her car, and that as a result, the vehicle’s automatic windows stopped working.
Hit and Run: At 1:43 p.m. a call was made from the parking lot of a business on the 1200 block of 8th St. South regarding a woman who was “bumped” in the leg by a car who then drove off.
April 7
Used Cigarette Thief: At 9:19 a.m. a call was made from the 200 block of 10th Ave. North to report that someone has been breaking into a nearby cigarette disposal unit to steal cigarette butts.
Church Vandal: At 6:18 p.m. a church from the 700 block of 10th Ave. South reported that damage had been done to an outside statue, as well as further damage at the church itself.
Uncomfortable: At 3:04 a.m. a call was made to police from a business on the 4300 block of 8th St. to report that a man was walking around the store making staff “uncomfortable”.
April 8
Speed Racer: At 4:58 p.m. a complaint was made concerning a man racing up and down the road between Alton St and 19th Ave. There had allegedly been kids playing in the area where the driver was speeding.
Keep it Down: At 11:18 p.m. a call was made to police from the area of High St. and 18th Ave. South to report that three kids outside were being “loud”.
