Take the Plunge on New Year’s Day

Brave the cold this New Year’s Day and help a good cause at the same time.
The Lure Bar and Grill in Rome, Wis., is playing host to the 19th annual Polar Bear Jump in support of the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. All are invited to take the plunge into the freezing waters of Lake Pentenwell at 1:00 PM on January 1.
A minimum $25 donation is required to jump and participants who raise $75 will get a t-shirt and those who raise $100 or more also get a towel. All participants will receive a can koozie with CMNH logo. The Pool People will have hot tubs at the site for post-jump warming.
All overhead costs are underwritten by sponsors, so 100 percent of the proceeds go to help children served at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, including Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
