Police & Sheriff Calls for Apr. 13
Cursing the Sky: At 4:08 p.m. a call was made from a business on the 2500 block of W. Grand Ave. regarding a woman in a vehicle yelling and cursing at the air in a parking lot. The woman was eventually arrested.
Locked in: At 1:26 p.m. a call was made from the 100 block of 14th Ave. South regarding a man who had locked himself in his sister’s residence. The man was allegedly on drugs, carried weapons on him, and had three seizures in the last 10 hours. Police made contact with the man and everything is okay.
Quit Yelling!: At 11:26 p.m. a call was made from the corner of 9th St. North and Saratoga St. regarding a woman and two men yelling at each other. The yelling continued, as the trio continued towards Baker St. on foot.
Feline Fight Club: At 10:29 a.m. a call was made from a business on the 2900 block of 8th St. South regarding a cat laying by the front door. It is reported the cat looked like it had been in a fight. The humane society was called and have since aided the cat.
