Doggy Dread: A Wisconsin Rapids woman called police to report an unleashed dog on the 500 block of 4th St. S. The woman was sacred and wanted an officer to secure the dog.

Streetfighters:  Three men, 17, 26 and 59 years old were reported to be fighting in the road on the 100 block of 16th St. N in Wisconsin Rapids.

Minor Threats: A Wisconsin Rapids woman called police at 10:09 PM because she thinks she is receiving threatening messages from a known 12-year-old female.

July 3

Calling For Crows: An anonymous caller reported to police at 6:38 AM that a neighbor’s rooster goes crazy every morning on the 1200 block of Two Mile Ave in Wisconsin Rapids. Police informed rooster’s owner that only hens were allowed in the city if you have a permit.

More Doggy Dread: An unleashed dog was reported to have chased down a biker and a construction worker at 12:55 PM on 4th St. S. and Alder St. in Wisconsin Rapids.

Missing Man: At 3:10 PM, a 31-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was reported missing by his father. The missing man was usually seen a few times per week but hasn’t been around for over two weeks. The man is a known drug user. Police later located the man at a friend’s home.

Garage Squabble: A 27-year-old male and female were reported to police by a neighbor because they were fighting in their garage on the 2100 block of Wickham Ave. in Wisconsin Rapids. Drugs were suspected to be involved.

Theft: Kelly’s Liquor reported the attempted theft of a bottle of liquor by a 37-year-old male. The store clerk called the thief back and the bottle was returned before police were called.

July 4

Homeless Report: The manager of a Perkins restaurant on the 2300 block of 8th St. S. reported to police at 1:15 AM that a homeless man had sat outside the restaurant for the past week. He had apparently been staring into the restaurant.

Noisy Neighbors: Loud music and running tractors were reported by a female complainant at 2:32 AM on 32nd St. and Norton St. in Wisconsin Rapids.

Uknown Gnome: A female caller reported at 6:58 AM that she found a 3-foot gnome in her yard on the 600 block of Baker St. in Wisconsin Rapids.

Flinging Feces: Police responded at 2:52 PM to a report of a 53-year-old man at an assisted living facility on Pepper Ave. in Wisconsin Rapids. The man was reported to be going through drug withdrawal and was throwing feces at the staff.

Teenage Terrors: Two teenagers, 15 and 17, were reported to police to be smashing the windows of a vacant house on the 1900 block of Prospect St. at 6:07 PM. The suspects live next door.

July 5

Hospital Hindrance: A 23-year-old man visited the Riverview hospital at 1:30 AM for treatment of a laceration on his head. Hospital staff called police to report that the man was intoxicated, slamming doors and being disrespectful to staff.

Disturbance: A 12-year-old boy called police at 4:02 AM to report that his mom’s 31-year-old boyfriend was drunk and his mom was crying on the 300 block of 7th Ave. S. in Wisconsin Rapids.

Hot Dog: A drooling dog locked in a hot vehicle on the 1500 block of 24th Ave. in Wisconsin Rapids was reported to police at 1:28 PM. Police found the dog’s owners and spoke to them about the dog’s safety. The dog was reported at fine.
