A Nekoosa man faces possible fines and jail time after two charges of alleged lewd and lascivious behavior.

Kenneth Spice, 55, is charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior, a class A misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of a $10,000 fine or nine months imprisonment or both for each count.

According to court documents, on Dec. 3, 2014, a Wood County Sheriff’s deputy met with a female witness who reported that Spice was allegedly standing in the front window of his home while naked and “fondling himself” on the 9000 block of Cty. Rd. Z in Nekoosa. She said he was visible to anyone passing and she had witnessed the same activity on November 28.

Deputies investigated prior calls to Spice’s address and found there had been five prior complaints regarding his behavior. Another neighbor called the sheriff’s department regarding the investigation and reported that Spice had allegedly exposed himself 25-30 times per month.

Spice is free on a $500 signature bond that was continued after his initial appearance in Wood County Circuit Court on September 21.

He returns to court on October 16 at 10:00 AM for a pre-trial conference.
