Police & Sheriff Calls for May 2
Squirrel Feeder: At 7:38 a.m. a call was made from a resident on the 3200 Franklin St. regarding a complaint that her neighbors do not like her feeding nearby birds and squirrels. The caller stated she found a dead squirrel on her porch at the time of the call.
Scooter Disturbance: At 6:40 p.m. a call was made from the 1300 block of 21st Ave. South regarding a scooter. The caller heard a knock on the door, and when answered, two kids barged in and took his scooter. They threw it in a mud hole outside of the residence.
Dog’s Night: At 8:07 p.m. a call was made from he 3600 block of Reddin Rd. regarding a dog that was left out for over two hours. The dog was okay when checked up on.
Prowler Scare: At 8:36 p.m. a call was made from the 500 block of 11th Ave. South regarding a potential prowler. There had been a man allegedly sitting in the car for nearly three hours. Officers arrived to find that the car was unoccupied and that nobody was around.
