Police & Sheriff Calls for May 10
Tone Deaf: At 9:16 a.m. a call was made from the 2600 block of 12th St. South regarding a neighbor who had music blaring so loud that it was shaking the caller’s walls. A warning was issued to the culprit by police.
Mailbox Bandit: At 3:23 p.m. a call was made from the 400 block of Wyatt Ave. regarding a series of mailboxes being “gone through” in his neighborhood. According to the caller, this is an ongoing problem.
Fight Club: A call was made from the corner of 12th Ave. North and McKinley St. regarding a fight that was in progress between middle school kids. It was reported that there were six kids in total, and that a few were taking video of the fight.
Property Concern: At 10:37 p.m. a call was made from the 400 block of 10th St. South regarding concerns over someone trying to break in her house. She believed it was a family member, and that she heard dogs barking, which alerted her to a possible break-in. Everything on the property was okay after further investigation.
