Police & Sheriff Calls for May 17
Tire Abuse: At 9:31 a.m. a call was made from the 2900 block of 2nd St. South regarding a complaint that his girlfriend was “out of control” and popped the tires on his car.
Jackson Thief: At 12:46 p.m. a call was made from a business on the 1900 block of Wylie St. regarding the theft of $20.00.
Scavenger Hunt: At 11:54 p.m. a call was made from the 1400 block of 2nd St. North regarding three people spotted digging through garbage. They were allegedly scavenging, and received warnings.
Bad Well Water: At 3:54 a.m. a call was made from the 300 block of 16th St. South regarding a neighbor who was watering the caller’s lawn. The caller believes that the well water from his neighbor’s is bad, and wishes him to stop.
