Wisconsin Rapids Weekend Rundown

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here is a listing of events in the coming days.

Friday, Jun. 3
“Urban Landscapes” — 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Held at the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center, this exhibit is a mixed media exhibit and will feature cranberry centered pieces of art, as well. The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center is located at 240 Johnson St. in Wisconsin Rapids

Saturday, Jun. 4
Brat Fry — 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Faith Reformed Church will be hosting a brat fry outside of Copps located at 900 E. Riverview Expressway in Wisconsin Rapids. This will serve as a fundraiser for the church’s centennial celebration in September.

Saturday, Jun. 4

Wisconsin Rapids Kiwanis Club Summer Youth Outdoors Day — 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This Saturday, “Kiwanis Club Summer Outdoors Day” will host over 20 activities at Lake Wazeecha, including fishing, canoeing, water-skiing, fly tying, dog trials, rifle shooting, kite flying, tree climbing, rock wall, trapping and skinning, bow shooting, and much more.
The day will kick off at 9:00 a.m. and run until 3:00 p.m. For more information, please call 715-347-3030. Lake Wazeecha is located at 6411 South Park Rd.

Saturday, Jun. 4
Freddie’s Adult Prom — 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Freddie’s Pub & Eatery will be hosting an adult prom, complete with a DJ, dancing, and drink specials. Royalty will be voted on through the night, and the event will even feature a grand march. Freddie’s is located at 2010 Chestnut St. in Wisconsin Rapids.

Saturday, Jun. 4

Vada’s Rockhouse — 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Rock band Vada’s Rockhouse will be returning to Hollyrock’s on Saturday night to play a mix of classic and modern rock favorites. Hollyrock’s Tavern is located at 114 2nd St. North.
