Police & Sheriff Calls for Jun. 8
Goose Abuse: At 11:03 a.m. a call was made from the corner of 2nd St. and Birch St. regarding a goose with fishing line wrapped around his head and feet. The goose was unable to walk. The goose was set free by an officer and is fine.
Irresponsible Mower: At 5:35 p.m. a call was made from the 400 block of 10th St. North regarding a complaint of a neighbor mowing her lawn. This neighbor was allegedly getting grass from the mower onto her lawn.
“My Ex Stole my Food”: At 8:46 p.m. a call was made from the 1000 block of 1st St. North regarding an ex-partner who allegedly stole food from the complainant’s home.
Fighting over a Vape Pen: At 12:15 a.m. a call was made from the 800 block of 25th St. regarding two people “screaming and yelling” at each other. Officers arrived to find everything to be fine, and that the argument spawned over a vaping pen one party did not want the other to have.
