The Northwoods League today announced the launch of its’ new mobile app available on the Apple App store. The app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store by searching for Northwoods League. A version for Android is also coming soon.

The new Northwoods League Mobile App provides fans information about the league and teams, including game schedules, latest news, stats, maps and also access to buy tickets and watch games live.

“The Northwoods League continues to enhance the fan experience and creating a connected mobile experience for our fans inside and outside of the parks is step in that direction”, said Northwoods League Vice President of Technology Development, Greg Goodwin. “The introductory version of our mobile app puts key information like the schedule and team news in your hands and provides direct access to tickets, live video and stats, but it is just an initial foundation to grow on for this season and upcoming seasons to come.”

You can review information about every team as well as set your favorite team in the app. Then the next time you open the app your favorite team will be displayed. Fans can also check the schedule for game times, locations and tickets. Changes to the schedule are reflected daily, so check back for information on rescheduled games.

Recaps of the previous night’s action are also available in the latest news link. The app will allow you to read updates from the league and teams during the season and all year round.

App Features
• League and Team brands – Set your favorite team so that the app will launch with your team first
• Buy Tickets – Direct links to each team’s Buy Tickets page
• Watch Games Live! – Direct links to each team’s Stretch Internet portal
• View Schedule – Calendar with real-time schedule
