Doggonit: A 51-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man called police at 5:10 AM to report a dog on the 400 block of 16th Ave. N has been barking for over an our in its back yard. Officers issued a warning to the dog owner.

Slasher: Police were called at 8:43 AM by a woman who reported an unknown suspect slashed one of their car tires on the 400 block of 9th Ave. S. No suspects are known at this time.

Humane Society Suspicion: The Humane Society contacted police at 10:43 AM to report someone had called them about a dog that had been outside for days and did not look well. It was unknown if anyone was caring for the dog. Officers report the dog had adequate food and water.

CRASH: Police responded to a two vehicle crash at the intersection of 8th St. N and Baker St. at 10:48 AM. No injuries were reported for either driver.

Phone Harassment: A 24-year-old Rapids woman called police at 12:04 PM to report unwanted telephone calls from an undisclosed suspect. Police called the suspect and asked them to stop the activity.

Theft: A Dollar General employee contacted police at 1:30 PM to report the theft of about $30 of merchandise from the store on 900 block of W. Grand Ave. Suspect had left the premises but police gathered video evidence of the incident.

Aldi Altercation: A 40-year-old Rapids woman called police at 2:09 PM to report a woman who had been verbally abusive towards her over a parking spot in the Aldi parking lot on 8th St. S. Police spoke with the suspect and issued a warning.

Kentucky Fried Fight: Police were called at 3:52 PM by a complainant who reported a couple was arguing and making a scene at the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on 8th St. S. The incident did not turn physical and police advised there was no disturbance.

Needle Found: A Wisconsin Rapids woman called police at 7:32 PM to report finding used needles and a spoon in the middle of the road on the 4400 block of Mohawk St.
