Firefighters Memorial Requests No ‘Pokemon Go’

After sweeping the nation within days, many are starting to ask ‘Pokemon Go’ players to place some limits on where they are playing.
In a Facebook post from July 12, 2016, the Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial requested that ‘Pokemon Go’ players refrain from playing at the memorial.
“We ask that you PLEASE RESPECT the entire WSFM Park and NOT play the Pokemon Go game anywhere in the Park,” reads the Facebook post. “We would certainly hope that no one would be disrespectful at any time within the grounds of the Park.”
The Wisconsin State Firefighters Memorial is located at 2121 2nd Ave. S. in Wisconsin Rapids.
