Police & Sheriff Calls for July 13
Broken Gnome: A 59-year-old Rapids woman called police at 6:22 AM to report an unknown suspect had tipped over her lawn ornaments and spray painted her car on the 900 block of 15th St. N.
Grocery Getter: Police were called at 9:52 AM by a woman who reported her neighbor’s pit bull dog was in her yard again and she was afraid to go outside to retrieve the rest of her groceries on the 1500 block of 17th Ave. S.
Missing: A woman from Human Services contact police at 10:17 AM for assistance in searching for a 15-year-old male who had gone missing. She said he was medicated for a mood disorder and had been off them for more than 12 hours. Subject was described as five feet, eleven inches tall, weighing 200 pounds and wearing a grey sweatshirt, jeans and work boots. No report on if he was found.
Domestic Disturbance: A Wisconsin Rapids woman called police at 10:40 AM to repot her boyfriend had hit her and she had ran across the street on the 1900 block of Oak St. to call police. Police arrested the suspect.
Harassment: Police were contacted by a Wisconsin Rapids man at 11:28 AM who reported receiving threatening and harassing text messages from two individuals.
Drug Sale: A 41-year-old woman called police at 1:19 PM to report that an unidentified individual had sold her daughter and friends meth and heroin near the intersection of 23rd St. N. and Washington St.
Disturbance: Police were called by an anonymous complainant at 2:10 PM who reported a man and woman were screaming and throwing things in an apartment on the 2200 block of Boles St. Police were unable to identify any suspects and reports all was okay.
Gunshots: A Rapids woman called police at 2:35 PM to report gunshots coming from her neighbors house on the 3100 block of Gaynor Ave. She said it was an ongoing problem. Please spoke to the neighbors and they agreed to cease their activity.
Harassment: A 19-year-old Rapids woman called police at 6:28 PM to report a 19-year-old man was harassing her over the phone and in person, following her and driving by her house.
