Police & Sheriff Calls for Aug. 9
Drive-by: At 12:32 p.m. a call was made from the 1600 block of 23rd Ave. South for a complaint that the caller’s window was shot out while driving down Gaynor Ave.
Suspicious Kid?: At 1:28 p.m. a call was made in regards to a “suspicious” kid on his bike walking through the woods — officers found that the kid was simply out selling Radiers’ cards.
Drug Clog: At 4:00 p.m. a call was made from a business on the 600 block of E. Grand Ave. regarding a toilet that was clogged with various needles and syringes.
Lock Your Car: At 11:11 p.m. a call was made from the 2200 block of County Highway W regarding the theft of an iPad from a vehicle.
