Police & Sheriff Calls for Sept. 25
Telephone Thief: A call was placed at 6:05 p.m. from a business on the 2100 block of 8th St. South in regards to a person who stole a telephone from the store.
Asphalt Bed: At 7:52 p.m. a call was made to dispatch concerning a man laying in the road by the 1000 block of W. Grand Ave.
Fair Trade: A call was placed from the 2200 block of 10th St. South regarding a stolen chainsaw, taken by a family member, who then called and attempted to trade a sweatshirt for the chainsaw.
Phantom Prowler: At 11:38 p.m. a call was placed to dispatch in regards to a garage door opening by itself along with security lights that came, but with nobody seemingly in the area.
