Update: Names Released in Fatal Dexter Crash

According to a Wood County Sheriff’s news release, there was a fatal crash late Tuesday afternoon in the Town of Dexter.
The head-on collision occurred near the 4500 block of State Highway 80 and involved three occupants in one vehicle, and one occupant in another. Two of the three occupants in one vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
New Libson residents Barbara Baldwin, 71, and Louise Hemenway, 74, were both pronounced dead on the scene by Wood County Coroner Dara Hamm.
72-year-old Dona Sharp, of Fallon, Missouri, and 30-year-old Greg Kopelke, of Wisconsin Rapids, are still recovering at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
The accident is still under investigation.
