The Riverkings prepare to welcome Steel County Blades to Rapids this weekend for a big match up of two of the top teams in the USPHL Midwest Elite league.

The Riverkings are in first place with a 10-1 record after a strong start to the season. The Blades come to town sporting  6-1-1 record which places them in 5th place, but they have the 2nd best winning percentage and should provide a serious test for the Riverkings.

Puck drops at 7:30pm at the South Wood County Recreation Center this Friday and Saturday. Come on out for a costume competition Saturday night with the winner winning free swag, or have a cold one from the beer garden — but make no mistake, you will be seeing some fast exciting Junior A hockey.
