Riverkings Host Cougars in Two-Game Series This Weekend

After a 5-4 loss last week to the Renegades, the Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings look to rebound this weekend.
Friday and Saturday mark home games against the fourth place 17-13 Chicago Cougars, who are coming off of a four game losing streak. The first place Riverkings currently hold a two game lead over the second place Dells Ducks, and are looking to widen the gap.
The Riverkings are led by leading scorer, forward Reed Kaiser, who has put up 24 goals this season. Forward Ryan Mantz is sixth overall in the league with 52 total points. Goalie Erik Schuette has 14 wins on the year with a 435 saves, and a .938% save average.
After this weekend only four home games remain for this season.
The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. both nights at the South Wood County Recreation Center, located at 2711 16th St. South.
