Soundcheck: Nine Bands to Play the Area This Weekend

Here is a rundown of all concerts happening in the Wisconsin Rapids area this weekend.

Friday, Feb 3

Relentless — 8:00 p.m.
-Country/Rock band Relentless will be taking their talents to Kellner Friday night. They play UW-Kellner, located at 4111 80th St. South.

Rumors — 8:00 p.m.
-The band Rumors will be playing Layla’s Pub on Friday. You can catch this unique band at Layla’s Pub, located at 2962 WI-73.

Saturday, Feb 4

Branded — 12:00 p.m.
-Award-winning band ‘Branded’ will be playing the Polar Plunge event on Saturday. This fundraiser will be held at Anchor Bay, located at 3460 N. Biron Dr.

Rumors — 7:00 p.m.
-Rumors is at it for the second straight night, as they play Monkey’s Bar on Saturday. Monkey’s Bar is located at 2693 WI-13.

Bootleg Hollar — 8:00 p.m.
-Bootleg Hollar will bring some country flavor to Layla’s Saturday night. Layla’s Pub can be found at 2962 WI-73.

Texxas — 8:00 p.m.
-Country band Texxas will be taking their talents to Wild Horse Saloon Saturday night. Wild Horse is located at 9031 County Rd. WW.

SLAB — 9:00 p.m.
-Get your fill of rock with SLAB on Saturday night. They will be playing Octane Bar & Grill, located at 9047 8th St. South.

Sunday, Feb. 5

Polka Pals — 1:00 p.m.
-It’s Sunday, and it’s time to polka. The Polka Pals play Monkey’s Bar on Sunday afternoon, located at 2693 WI-73.

Two Left Feet — 2:30 p.m.
-Before the Super Bowl starts, check out Two Left Feet, playing at Whiskey Rapids, located in downtown Wisconsin Rapids.
