Riverking Roundup: Sticks look to stay hot against Chicago.

The Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings have won 10 out of their last 12 games, and look to continue their hot streak into Illinois this weekend.

They face a formidable opponent in the Chicago Cougars, who are fighting for playoff contention as the season end closes in. The Riverkings hold a 30-7 (4 OT losses) record going into the three game series against Chicago, while Chicago holds on to a 19-13 record for the year.

Leading Riverkings points-getter Ryan Mantz leads the way with 72 points this season, wile goalie Joe Fratantonio has a goals against average of 1.38.

The three game series starts in West Dundee, Ill. Saturday night at the Leaf Centre, before they take it to an outdoor hockey rink as part of the Heritage Classic on Monday, Feb. 6. The game will be held at MB Financial Center in Rosemont, Ill.

You catch the Heritage Classic Monday night at 5:00 p.m. on hockeytv.com.
