Police & Sheriff Calls for Feb. 27-March 2

Feb. 27
Self-Reflection: At 10:23 a.m. a call was made from the Riverview Expressway bridge concerning a man on the sidewalk who was staring at the water and allegedly talking to himself.
Erratic Driver: A call was made from the corner of Baker St. and Market St. to report a man driving on the roundabout who almost hit a light pole. The driver was eventually stopped and taken in for drunk driving.
Man in Black: At the corner of 7th Ave. and Goggins a report was made a man dressed in black driving a black truck, who was wandering the area.
Feb. 28
Car Seat Thieves: A call was made from a business on the 4300 block of 8th St. South regarding two men involved in the theft of a car seat from the store.
On Video: At 7:02 p.m. a complaint was made from the 1000 block of Jefferson St. regarding a family member recording the caller’s hunter safety course without his permission.
Bad Roommate: A call was made from the 100 block of 17th St. North regarding a roommate who broke into the caller’s bedroom and destroyed property.
March 1
“Aliens”: At 8:45 p.m. a report was made from a gas station on the 1000 block of W. Grand Ave. about a man in the store looking for his “UFO”.
Drug Residence: A call was made from the 1400 block of 21st Ave. South concerning contacting the landlord to do walkthrough of an apartment complex that smelled like drugs.
Drunk Driving: At 1:37 a.m. a report was made of a man driving a truck onto the caller’s front lawn, believed to be intoxicated. Officers would catch up to him a few blocks later to make an arrest.
