Wis. Rapids Middle School Students Shine in Math Contest
For the City Times
All 6th and 7th graders at the Wisconsin Rapids Area Middle School (WRAMS) recently participated and excelled in the Wisconsin Math League Contest.
This annual contest consists of 35 – 40 problems, and students are given 30 minutes to solve them. Each year, the top 30 schools in the state are publicly recognized for their grade-level scores. Both grades at WRAMS made the list of recognized schools.
Overall, Wisconsin Rapids 6th graders placed 11th in the state – 3rd in our region; and the 7th graders placed 9th in the state. Additionally, four individual students were recognized for their outstanding performance.
Wisconsin Rapids Public Schools would like to thank the dedicated math teachers and hard-working students at WRAMS for the accomplishment.
