Police & Sheriff Calls for June 1-3
June 1
Sandwich Waster: At 11:36 a.m. a complaint was made from a business on the 200 block of W. Riverview Expressway to report that a customer had ordered $42 worth of sandwiches, and then refused to pay. He did not take the sandwiches.
Intoxicated Driver: At 9:37 p.m. a call was made from the 900 block of E. Riverview Expressway to report a possible drunk driver weaving erratically through the parking lot.
Tailed: At 4:19 a.m. police were notified that a yellow vehicle had been allegedly following the caller all the way from Adams. A citation was issued.
June 2
Wrong Way: At 1:36 a complaint was made regarding multiple drivers allegedly traveling the wrong way down a one way street inn the area of 7th St. and E. Grand Ave.
Spare Change?: At 6:07 p.m. a call was made from a grocery store on the 1800 block of Baker St. to report a customer had been walking around the store asking people for money.
Blocking Traffic: At 2:28 a.m. a report was made regarding an intoxicated man who stopped his car in the middle of the road and started yelling at another woman.
June 3
Not-So-Strange: At 12:59 p.m. a call was made to report a woman that had been allegedly acting strange and waving her arms in the area of 16th St North. all by herself. However, she was simply talking to someone, and waving her arms because she was hot.
Poultry Pest: At 3:54 p.m. a complaint was made from the 100 block of 12th Ave. South to report that a caller had his cooked chicken thrown out by his roommate.
Quiet Down: A call was made from the area of Oak St. and 6th St. to report that a woman had been walking around and yelling things — she was believed to be on drugs.
