Police & Sheriff Calls for Aug. 9
Feline Fiasco: at 10:11 a.m. a complaint was made from the 1100 block of Avon St. concerning neighbors that had too many cats.
Beer Thief: At 12:01 p.m. authorities were notified of a woman who took of with an amount of beer from a grocery store on W. Grand Ave.
Underwear Thieves: A call was made to police from a retail store on the 4300 block of Eighth St. South to report that two men were caught stealing underwear.
Hamster Dance: At 4:55 p.m. police were notified of a woman who was bit by a hamster at a residence on the 1400 block of 23rd Ave. South.
BB Snipers: At 6:05 p.m. a complaint was made from the 600 block of 10th Ave. North regarding two neighbors shooting BB guns from the top of a roof.
Bored Youth: At 11:31 p.m. dispatch was notified of a driver in a pickup truck doing donuts in a fast food parking lot after hours.
