Aug. 23

R.I.P.: At 6:06 a.m. a call was made from the 2400 block of Second Ave. South to report a dead dog found on the side of the road.

Paint Thief: At 9:43 a.m. police were notified of the theft of a paint can, valued at $60, from the 100 block of 18th Ave. South.

Lead Foot: At 5:51 p.m. a complaint was made by a woman on the 1800 block of 16th St. South that her foot was ran over by a vehicle.

Canine Punting: At 11:04 p.m. a call was made to dispatch to report that a woman on the 100 block of Oak Rd. had allegedly kicked a dog through a window. The owner, however, told police that she was in bed since 8:00 p.m.

Lost & Found: At 11:48 p.m. a call was made to dispatch from the 3100 block of 15th St. South to report that a chihuahua was found outside the caller’s door.

Mumbling Guest: At 4:07 a.m. police were notified of a man in a hotel lobby on E. Grand Ave. that had been passed out, mumbling to himself, and not making any sense.

Aug. 24

Yard Thief: At 10:45 a.m. a complaint was made from the 600 block of Whitrock Ave. regarding the theft of items from his yard.

Food Scammer: At 11:53 a.m. a call was made from a restaurant on the 2000 block of Eighth St. South to report that a customer attempted to scam them out of food.

Voyeur: At 3:03 p.m. dispatch was notified of a person ” videotaping” him while driving in the area of Third St. South and E. Riverview Expressway.

Fed Up: At 8:54 p.m. a potentially intoxicated man was reported to have been screaming and swearing in the area of Clyde Ave. and Seventh St. South.
