Mid-State Technical College continuing education series coming to all locations

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A series of continuing education classes on healthy aging is coming soon to each of Mid-State’s locations in Adams, Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wisconsin Rapids. The Healthy Aging Series includes five different course offerings on select weeknights from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Jan. through April.

With classes like Moving to Age Well and Understanding the Language of Healthcare, the Healthy Aging Series explores the gradual changes that come with aging and the lifestyle choices that can have a powerful impact on the aging process. Students will develop an understanding of these issues and learn ways to maintain health, independence and well-being.

Each class consists of one class meeting, with four dates available across Mid-State’s locations. Participants can sign up for the whole series or as many classes as desired. The series will conclude with the Aging in Place conference at the Wisconsin Rapids campus on May 19. Register in person at any Mid-State campus or online atwww.mstc.edu/continuinged.
