Students Raise Awareness to “Be Kind Be Aware” at Lincoln/SPASH Basketball Game

STEVENS POINT — Students from SPASH and Lincoln are teaming up for the “Be Kind, Be Aware” program.

On Tuesday, Jan. 30, students from both schools will sell bracelets in a 50/50 raffle where proceeds will go towards support of a free screening of the movie “Wonder” on Feb. 18 at 2PM at Bannach Elementary School. This will be done at the girls and boys basketball doubleheader at SPASH.

According to to a news release, the program seeks to encourage their peers to “Be Kind Be Aware”, as they share information and increase awareness of the importance of using social media appropriately.

“Be Kind Be Aware” apparel can be ordered online before Jan. 14 at, https://be-kind-be-aware-fundraiser.itemorder.com/sale. Tip-Off begins at 6PM at the SPASH Fieldhouse, 1201 North Point Dr.
