WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area is excited for the third annual wine and beer tasting event, A Toast to Great Futures, held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 7-10pm. This event will take place at the Nekoosa Community Center, located at 416 Crestview Lane, Nekoosa, WI.

The event highlights will include over one hundred craft beer and wines for sampling which will be paired with appetizers from Great Expectations, and great company. The event will include various prizes including a silent auction, raffle, and an event favorite-the wine and whiskey raffle, which features a selection of high-end and limited-edition bottles.

“[A Toast to Great Futures] is shaping up to be better than ever,” said Zach Coleman, Owner of Richard’s Liquor and a Boys & Girls Club Board Member. “How can you pass up an exciting night out with friends featuring local food, beer and wine? We are very excited to help with such an important cause.”

A Toast to Great Futures tickets are on sale now for $75 and can be purchased at the following locations:

  • Boys & Girls Club – Pitsch Center, 501 17th St. S., Wisconsin Rapids
  • Richard’s Liquors, 3033 8ths St. S., Wisconsin Rapids
  • Wisconsin Rapids Floral & Gifts, 2351 8th St S, Wisconsin Rapids

Tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling Boys & Girls Club at (715) 818-6125. Limited tickets are available.

One-hundred percent of proceeds will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area, filtering to the 2,100 area youth that access their services annually.

“We are grateful for the success of the event over the past two years. The funds have been utilized to develop and sustain current Club programs,” said Kent Anderson, Executive Director. “We look forward to another great year. Please join us for a night out that will benefit the youth of our community.”

A Toast to Great Futures would not be possible without the generous support of local businesses and organizations, including our presenting sponsors: The Dental Suite, StrongBridge Wealth Advisors, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, Aspirus, and Richard’s Liquors.

There are many opportunities to support A Toast to Great Futures through event sponsorships, raffle donations, and monetary gifts. For more information on A Toast to Great Futures, please contact Sam Hodgson at shodgson@bgcwra.org or (715) 818-6125.
