“Keeping the Beat” Women Ladies’ Night Out Announced
For the City Times
Ladies… Are you living with atrial fibrillation (AFib)? Or perhaps you have AFib and don’t even realize it.
At the Aspiring Women ladies’ night out, “Keeping the Beat,” Dr. John Johnkoski and Dr. Kevin Rist of Aspirus Heart & Vascular will describe AFib risks, symptoms and treatment options. They will also share steps you can take to decrease the risk of AFib-related stroke.
You will also sample heart healthy appetizers and take home recipes and an Aspiring Women gift.
“Keeping the Beat” will be held from 5:30 to 7 pm at the Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids on Tuesday, June 5, and at the Stevens Point Country Club on Tuesday, June 12.
Attendance is free with a suggested donation of one canned food item for area families struggling with hunger.
Advance registration is required, as space is limited. To register, visit aspirus.org/AspiringWomen or call 1-800-847-4707 weekdays between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm. (Please register individually.)
