May 1

At 8:23 a.m. a report was made of a vehicle gone through and a cell phone stolen in the area of 19th Ave. South

At 2:20 p.m. police were notified that a stop sign had been knocked down on 21st Ave. South.

At 6:39 p.m. a man was found in a gutter on 25th Ave. South, who was barely breathing. He received quick medical attention.

May 2

At 8:34 a.m. a complaint was made regarding two kids throwing stones into a pond at a residence on Two Mile Ave.

At 11:37 a.m. a report was made concerning picnic tables from Robinson Park located in the backyard on 17th St. North. However, these tables were purchased legally through the city.

At 4:14 p.m. a man was reported have been in a restaurant bathroom for 90 minutes on the 1300 block of W. Grand Ave. The man allegedly walked out with a needle, and was sweating.

May 3

At 11:39 a.m. complaint was made of the smell of drugs coming from an apartment on 18th Ave. South.

At 5:17 p.m. a caller reported damage to her garage door from a person sleeping in her doorway, located at a residence on 17th Ave. South.

At 8:13 p.m. a woman called police to inform them that she received an unknown call asking her if she lived alone.

May 4

At 11:01 a.m. a bag of needles was reportedly found behind a business on 1700 block of Eighth St. South.

At 4:19 p.m. a complaint was made regarding repeated loud music coming from a neighboring apartment on 23rd Ave. South.

At 8:42 p.m. dispatch was informed that a driver was spotted smoking marijuana and headed towards the zoo in the area of Gaynor Ave.

May 5

At 10:54 a.m. a possible overdose was called when a man on Plum St. took too many Xanax pills and started to throw up blood.

At 12:05 p.m. a report of a man beating a woman outside a store on the 3200 block of Eighth St. South was called in.

At 7:04 p.m. a man called and threatened a fast food restaurant on W. Grand Ave. that if they didn’t give him food, he would “blow the establishment”.

at 10:26 p.m. a T.V. stand was reported in the roadway on 10th Ave. North and W. Grand.

At 10:51 p.m. unknown screaming was reported from the area of Butler St., in which multiple subjects were involved in a large fight.

May 6

At 11:25 a.m. a call was made regarding the theft of two propane tanks from the 400 block of East. G St.

At 5:02 p.m. a pile of glass was reported in the roadway in the area of Pepper Ave.

At 12:09 a.m. a complaint was made from the 1300 block of Woodbine St. regarding the smell of “weed, coke, and booze”

No. of Accidents Reported: 1

May 7

At 12:37 p.m. a complaint was made from a tavern on Ruby Ave. concerning a person who did not pay their tab.

At 5:38 p.m. a complaint was made concerning dogs in the disc golf park on Apricot St.

At 12:01 a.m. a man and a woman were observed looking into vehicles outside a restaurant on Eighth St. South. The police were called, and were soon confronted.
