Vesper Legion Auxiliary members present Quilts of Valor

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Members of Vesper American Legion Auxiliary Unit 520 presented five Quilts of Valor to area veterans during a May 28 Memorial Day Program at the Vesper Community Center.
Quilts of Valor are given to honor each veteran for leaving all they held dear to serve, whether in time of crisis or in time of peace.
Quilts were presented to: Theodore Boschma, Ken Minch, Ron Swensen, Evelyn (Ann) Swensen, and Joseph Jung at the Vesper Community Center.
Unit 520 has presented 12 Quilts of Valor in the past year, to members of Post 520 and area veterans.
