Rapids man is homicide victim

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A coroner’s report says a Wisconsin Rapids man was strangled to death.
The 29-year-old victim, identified as Jacob Johnson, was a homicide victim according to the Wood County Coroner. Johnson died of manual strangulation.
He was found dead at a home on Chestnut Street in Wisconsin Rapids in March. No other details have been released. It’s unclear if police have identified any suspects in the case.
