Lake Area Artists to host summer art show

ROME – The Lakes Area Artists Midsummer Art Show will be held on July 7, 2-5 p.m., in the Lake Arrowhead Chalet, 584 16th Ave., Nekoosa.
The Lakes Area Artists will have approximately 90 works of art for sale at the event and refreshments will be served.
The Lakes Area Artists group began over 12 years ago, when four artists gathered to “paint and share in their joy of painting.” Over time the group has grown to twelve artists.
The artists, all from the Rome area, meet once a week to paint and create in all mediums, including: watercolors, acrylics, oil, and pencil. Many of the artists teach, exhibit, and sell their work in shows throughout Wisconsin.
