United Way of Inner Wisconsin changes name
For the Rapids City Times
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – United Way of Inner Wisconsin has changed its name to United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties. With the increase in electronic giving from around our region, the state, and nationally, the organization decided to change the name to something that better describes our geographical coverage area.
“The only thing changing is our name.” said Tari Jahns, CEO. “We will continue to hold our annual campaign in the fall, distribute funds to local partner programs, and facilitate our coalitions and initiatives. We will continue to ensure that donors are making a good investment in the community.”
With the name change to United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties, the website domain name has been updated to www.uwswac.org. If you have any questions or concerns about United Way of South Wood & Adams Counties’ name change, contact 715-421-0390.
