Dorothy M. Maleski, age 91, of Wisconsin Rapids died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Arborview Court in Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. David Bruener will officiate. Entombment will be at Forest Hill Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 am until the time of service on Thursday morning. Ritchay Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Dorothy was born November 9, 1926 in Milladore to Felix and Clara (Elias) Haasl. She married Bernard “Ben” Maleski on September 25, 1948 in Wisconsin Rapids. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Lawrence Parish Council of Catholic Women. She was active with the parish fish fries and funeral dinners. She also taught CCD and was a member of the church choir.  Dorothy loved to cook and bake, especially paczkis. She and Ben greatly enjoyed their summer trips throughout the country.

She is survived by her husband Ben; two daughters Cheryl (Rodney) Breit of Wisconsin Rapids and Mary Vandrovec of Minneapolis; grandchildren Rachel, Erica, Jodelle, Michael, Matthew, Ana, Claire and Jared; great grandchildren Alexis, Jordan, Benjamin, Katherine, Kayleigh and Ashton; great-great granddaughter Rae and her sister Janet Anderson of Wisconsin Rapids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son James Maleski, son-in-law Steve Vandrovec, infant grandson Dylan, sister Irene Laksy and brothers Walter, Richard “Butch” and John “Jack” Haasl.
