Assumption knocked out of bid for Division 7 championships

PITTSVILLE – Wisconsin Rapids Assumption was knocked out of a run for WIAA Division 7 finals competition, after losing a Level 1 playoff game to the Pittsville Panthers on Oct. 19 at Pittsville High School.

Assumption held a 7-6 lead at the end of the first quarter, but Pittsville came back to steal, and increase the advantage, scoring 16 in the second. Pittsville secured their lead by adding 14 more in the third quarter and a scoreless fourth gave Pittsville a 42-7 win.
