Mid-State nursing school earns recognition

For the Rapids City Times
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – RegisteredNursing.org has ranked Mid-State Technical College ninth in Wisconsin for the 2019 Best RN Programs among 40 colleges. Nursing programs were assessed on several factors, including how well a program supports students towards licensure and beyond.
The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is a nationwide exam for the licensing of nurses in the United States since 1982. After completion of the school of nursing program, graduates take the NCLEX exam to receive a nursing license. NCLEX-RN pass-rates were part of the analysis and were weighted by year. Mid-State’s NCLEX 2018 pass-rate was 100 percent, up from 93.33 percent achieved by the program’s first-time candidates in 2017.
Based out of Carlsbad, California, RegisteredNursing.org is invested in the nursing profession and providing the necessary resources future nurses need to succeed.
