April 16, 2019
Student climbers
On April 16 at 10:03 a.m. it was reported that there were two students trying to climb the water tower. The report stated that the two students had been non-compliant for 20 minutes.
April 17, 2019
Possible warehouse fire
On April 17 at 6:13 p.m. it was reported that the warehouse right next to a church on old Highway 10 in Milladore looked like it was on fire. The complainant stated that there was lots of smoke and an unusual smell.
Poopy problems
On April 17 between 10:17 p.m. and 11:19 p.m., four complainants reported that there was raw sewage coming up the drains through the sewer pipes. On April 18, there were two more reports of raw sewage coming into the basement. Four of the incidents took place at residences on South Second Avenue in Wisconsin Rapids, while the other two incidents took place at residences on Gaynor Avenue and South 18th Avenue in Wisconsin Rapids.
Ex problems
On April 17 at 6:55 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids female reported that her ex’s new wife had physically assaulted a female. The complainant stated that the female was no longer present and that an ambulance was not necessary.
Creepy friend request
On April 17 at 2:49 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male and female reported that their 9-year-old daughter had received a friend request from a male that is a sex offender.
April showers
On April 17 between 6:38 and 9:04 p.m. there were 10 reports of flooding on various streets in Arpin, Lincoln, Auburndale, Richfield, and Port Edwards.
April 18, 2019
Stolen guns
On April 18 at 12:13 a.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that his guns had been stolen. The guns were stolen from a residence on South Fifth Street in Wisconsin Rapids.
Attempted theft
On April 18 at 6:19 a.m. a Port Edwards male reported that someone had tried to steal his trailer that night. The complainant stated that the trailer had been moved from the side of the garage to the end of the driveway and that it looked like the hitch lock on it had prevented it from being stolen. The incident occurred on a residence on Madison Avenue in Port Edwards.
