WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Wisconsin Rapids’ Lincoln High School was placed on a precautionary lockdown following an incident in a bathroom stall.

On April 25, at 9:25 a.m., a student reported concerning noises coming from a bathroom stall at the high school. As a result, an investigation was started by the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department school resource officer and building administration, and a “Code Yellow” precautionary lockdown was initiated.

During the investigation, a student admitted to popping open a Juul pod container and loading the cartridge into the Juul in the bathroom.

It was determined that there were no safety concerns to students, staff, or the building.
