Michelle I. Reber, 55, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the UW Hospital in Madison, WI.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Pastor Kevin Ader will officiate.  Inurnment will take place at St. John Lutheran Parish Cemetery at a later date.  A time of visitation, for family and friends, will begin at 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service, on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.

Michelle was born September 30, 1963 in Wisconsin Rapids to Elroy and Sandra (Ratelle) Reinicke. She graduated from Lincoln High School. Michelle married the love of her life Michael Reber on September 24, 1988 in Wisconsin Rapids. They were blessed with 30 years of wonderful memories.

She was employed at Shopko, AIG, Noelle Group, and Berkshire Hathaway. Michelle loved to spend time with her grandchildren every chance she could get. If you had a conversation with her, she would often tell stories of things that Easton did that were funny, or showing off pictures of Lillian and bragging about how beautiful she was. If Michelle wasn’t spending time with her grandchildren, she was spending time at home with her husband, going out for ice cream with her mother, or watching “Say Yes to the Dress” while snuggling with her cat, Bud.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Mike; her daughter, Mariah (Luke) Suzda; her brother, Monty Reinicke; her father-in-law, Howard (Trudy) Reber; her brothers-in-law, Paul (Linda) Reber and Dan Reber; her sister-in-law, Dawn (DJ) Firkus; her nephews: Jeffery Reber, Rhett Reinicke, JD Firkus, Keenan Firkus, and Cason Firkus; her nieces: Taylor Reinicke, Emma Reber, Abbey Reber, and Dawna Firkus; and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Lillian Suzda and Easton Suzda; her aunts and uncles: Don Reinicke, Tim (Beverly) Corbin, Ken Reinicke, Betty Kroeber, and Barbara (Pat) Mahoney; she is further survived by numerous cousins. Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, Elroy and Sandra Reinicke; she is further preceded in death by her grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Reber family.
