Gary R. Roginski, Sr., age 74, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 26, 2019.

A Celebration of Life Service for Gary will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the South Wood County Park – Enclosed Shelter. Father Valentine Joseph will officiate. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Roginski Family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.

Gary was born March 23, 1945 in Wisconsin Rapids to Ralph and Anna (Wiatrok) Roginski, Sr. Gary married Margaret Smart on October 14, 1967 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

He loved the outdoors. Gary prided himself on teaching his children the proper ethics for hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time fishing with his family, especially for walleye. Gary was an avid hunter. He was a life-long member of Ducks Unlimited. Gary enjoyed his corn cob pipe with his Sir Walter Raleigh tobacco and a warm beer.  He always brought joy and humor to any situation.  Gary is loved and will be deeply missed.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; his children: Jeremy Roginski, Chad Roginski, Darren (Lindsey) Roginski, and Angela (Clemente) Arias; his grandchildren: Tania Arias and Mateo Arias; his siblings: Ralph Roginski, Jr., Audrey (Don) Leary, Linda (Mike) Bergeman, Mary Jo (Larry) Gustafson, Richard (Becky) Roginski, and Betty (Bill) Kann. In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his son, Gary Roginski, Jr.; his sister-in-law, Mary Candice Roginski; and many other loved ones.
