Jay Prusak, age 47, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019.
A Celebration of Jay’s Life will will be held on September 15, 2019 at Nepco Lake Shelter from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Jay was born October 29, 1971 in New Berlin, WI and was the son of Joseph and Delores Prusak. He attended New Berlin High School and spent most of his life in the Asphalt business, including the last 11 years working for Fahrner Asphalt.
Jay was a quiet guy that wasn’t afraid to lend a helping hand. His greatest loves were his wife, daughter and his dogs. His hobbies included Nascar, riding his snowmobile, riding his Harley, tinkering in the garage, taking the dogs swimming and spending time with his family. Jay had a good sense of humor and loved giving people a hard time. If you received one of his checkmarks you were in trouble. He will be missed dearly. Jay always joked with Melissa that when he was with her, he was a better man. I think we can all agree that those that knew Jay were better for it!
Jay is survived by his loving wife Melissa and their daughter McKenzie. He is further survived by his in laws, brother and sister in law, nieces, several aunts, cousins and plenty of good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his dog Thunder.
