WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Assumption girls tennis team slammed Black River Falls, 6-1, in a non-conference match up on Sept. 12 at Black River Falls.
Singles results were: No. 1 – Maria Hartley, WR, defeated Danielle Johnson, BRF, 6-3, 6-2; No. 2 – Kate Eithun, WR defeated Alyson Emerich, BRF, 6-0, 6-3; No. 3 – Carly Hintz, WR defeated Ellen Janke, BRF, 6-1, 6-3; No. 4 – Araya Elsen, WR defeated Magelle Olson, BRF, 6-0, 6-0.
Doubles results were: No. 1 – Kendall Schmidt – Abbi Berard, WR, defeated Lauren Lund – Carmen Redbird, BRF, 6-2, 6-4; No. 2 – Addi West – Quinn Cerda Reyes, BRF defeated Julia Drewiske – Erin Heineck, WR, 5-7, 7-5, 10-5; No. 3 – Paige Donahue – Sadie Donahue, WR , won by forfeit.
