Transformer sparking
On Dec. 10 at 11:57 p.m. it was reported that a transformer had blown and that there was a fire spreading on South 19th Avenue and Alton Street in Wisconsin Rapids.
December 12, 2019
Homicide threats
On Dec. 12 at 10:36 p.m. it was reported that there were threats of homicide being made by a 17-year-old female. The complainant stated that the threats were made on Instagram posts. The parents of the student were contacted.
December 15, 2019
Smashed mailboxes
On Dec. 15 at 3:30 p.m. a Wisconsin Rapids male reported that the mailbox of his Pepper Avenue residence had been smashed. The complainant stated that it appeared that the mailbox of one of his neighbors had also been smashed.
Break-in and fraud
On Dec. 15 at 8:12 p.m. a male reported that the residence of his recently deceased father had been broken into. The complainant stated that the Baker Street, Wisconsin Rapids, residence had been gone through and that fishing equipment, tools, and checks had been taken. The individuals who had taken the checks had attempted to use them at a Saratoga grocery store.
