Pacelli girls basketball defeats Port Edwards

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Pacelli girls basketball headed to Port Edwards on Jan. 31 for a Central Wisconsin Conference game, where the Cardinals defeated the Port Edwards Blackhawks.
Pacelli held Port Edwards to only 15 points in the first half and had a 44-15 lead going into the second half. Pacelli won with a 68-41 final.
Sarah Mueller led the night in scoring, with 25 points. Emma Van Order added 14 points, and Anna Van Order scored 11 for the Cardinals.
Port Edwards scoring was led by Taylor Martin, with 18, and Dominique Griffith added 13 for the Blackhawks.
Port Edwards will host Bowler on Feb. 4 and then head to Rosholt for a Feb. 6 game.
Pacelli is on the road for the next two games on their schedule. They will face Iola-Scandinavia on Feb. 4 and Westfield on Feb. 7.
