Wood County man faces OWI charges following accident

WOOD COUNTY – A Wood County man is facing OWI charges after rolling his car near Rudolph. The crash occurred around 5 p.m. on June 5 in the 200 block of Highway 66 near Cera Park in the town of Rudolph.
Upon EMS members arriving on scene, a request was made for the Life Link III helicopter for one of the vehicle’s occupants. The other two occupants reported little or no injury. The patient that was airlifted was treated and released the same evening.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Jeremiah Rios, 38, of Rudolph was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
Assisting agencies included Rudolph Fire & Rescue, United Ambulance, Life Link III Air Transport, Wood County Sheriff’s Rescue, and the Wood County Sheriff’s Department.
