Donations now being accepted for Stuff the Bus

For the City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – School supply donations are being accepted for families with a financial need.

Any youth, 4K-12 grade, attending public or private schools in south Wood County are able to participate in this program through the United Way of South Wood & Adams County.

Donations can be dropped off at any of the collection sites listed on the United Way of South Wood & Adams County website, or brought down to Lunch by the River at Veteran’s Park on Aug. 6, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monetary donations also accepted.

School supplies will be distributed at Lincoln High School on Aug. 14, 3-5:30 p.m. and Aug. 15, 9-10:30 a.m. Last year, Stuff the Bus and Stuff the Desk provided school supplies to 827 children in the community.

Any family that is in financial need is able to register at www.uwswac.org or by calling 2-1-1 or 877-947-2211.
