Two injured in Wisconsin Rapids crash

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Two people are recovering from minor injuries after their cars collided, and one was sent crashing into a nearby home.
The crash occurred Dec. 27 on 13th Avenue North at High Street in Wisconsin Rapids.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Department says a car was going north on 13th Avenue and failed to stop for a stop sign, colliding with an eastbound car on High Street. That vehicle then smashed into a nearby home, causing damage to the car and the home’s gas line.
The drivers were the only occupants of each vehicle, and both suffered minor injuries.
