WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Central Wisconsin Cultural Center is working to match funding from an anonymous donor. The donor has offered to match $30,000 in funding for the Phase 2 property renovation. if the center can raise $30,000 by Dec. 21.

Contributions totaling $30,000 now through Dec. 21 will be matched to $30,000, for a total of $60,000 towards the Patio & Art Garden project, creative art classes, exhibits, and music offerings.

“Our Phase 2 Patio Project will bring many new positives to the community,” explained Connie Tomski-Faville. “It will bring more opportunities for live entertainment to our stage, showcase local sculpture artists in our Art Park, and increase green space on Eighth Street with our additional landscaping,” said Connie Tomski-Faville, executive director.

The Cultural Center moved to, and renovated, the former WoodTrust Bank building at 2651 Eighth St., Wisconsin Rapids, between Culvers and Goodwill, in the fall of 2020.

Donations for Phase 2 can be made online at https://culturalcenterarts.com/donate; mailed to CWCC, 2651 Eighth St. S, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, 54494; or dropped off at the center.

“We’re working to grow the arts every day and your generosity makes our programs stand stronger and reach further,” Tomski-Faville added. “Please help us take advantage of this very generous opportunity.”
